BBC daytime program Morning Live has gone on a multi-week summer hiatus after its live broadcast on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Hosts Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton confirmed the break at the start of the episode.

The wildlife documentary series Animal Park will temporarily fill the 9:30 a. m.
to 10:15 a. m.
slot after BBC Breakfast starting next week.
The replacement programming will run through the week of July 20, marking the 25th anniversary of the series hosted by Kate Humble and Ben Fogle.
Final Broadcast Highlights
During the final show before the break, regular contributor Greg Rutherford joked about being placed outside the main studio.
"What's this all about? It's the last show and I've been kicked out," he said.
Host Gethin Jones then addressed the hiatus: "Speaking of the summer holidays, we're gonna have a little break after today."

The announcement followed an eventful week that included a sudden interruption during Thursday's live episode.
Jones paused a health segment on insect bites with Dr. Ranj Singh to deliver breaking news about the death of Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler at age 75.
A statement on Bonnie Tyler's official website confirmed her unexpected passing in Portugal.
"Bonnie's family and team are heartbroken to announce that Bonnie unexpectedly passed away last night in hospital in Portugal as a result of the illness that she was being treated for," it read.
The family requested privacy and promised further updates.
During the Morning Live hiatus, Animal Park will feature anniversary specials at Longleat Safari Park.

Episodes will focus on introducing hippo families, tracking meerkats, welcoming maned wolves, and managing pride tensions after the death of lioness Malaika last year.
