Late night television hosts Michael Kosta and Ike Barinholtz scrutinized the ongoing US military air strikes in Iran and the appointment of Darline Graham to the Senate, as reported by The Guardian.

On The Daily Show, guest host Michael Kosta commented on Donald Trump's greeting of IndyCar drivers at the White House before transitioning to discussions regarding the recent death of Senator Lindsey Graham.

"Uh, maybe it doesn't have that Eye of the Tiger energy," commented Kosta.

"This would be like, if instead of running up the steps of the museum, Rocky took the chairlift."

Kosta highlighted Trump's response to a news host who questioned whether the full story about the senator's death was known to the public.

"Well, I think we do.

We have great doctors and they talked about, you know, a certain part of his body literally blew up," said Donald Trump.

The host deadpanned about the unusual nature of the medical explanation provided by the former president.

"It's actually a fairly common cause of death," deadpanned Kosta. "We all remember when Queen Elizabeth II died after her vagina went boom."

Following the passing of the senator, officials announced that his sister, Darline Graham, would serve as the interim replacement in the United States Senate.

"A Senate seat? That's an inheritance jackpot!"

laughed Kosta. "Most people just get a garage full of damp boxes."

Darline Graham previously focused her career on government agencies that assist the blind, currently serving as the president-elect of the national council of state agencies to the blind.
