Louise Haigh will serve as first secretary of state, chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, and minister for the Cabinet Office.

Several senior ministers left the government after Starmer tendered his resignation to the King earlier on Monday.
They include former chancellor Rachel Reeves, former foreign secretary David Lammy, business secretary Peter Kyle, and housing secretary Steve Reed.
Surprise Appointment and Returning Figures
The appointment of John Healey as chancellor came as a surprise to many observers.
The veteran politician has served as MP for Wentworth since 1997 and previously held the role of defence secretary until resigning in June 2026 over spending disagreements.

Meanwhile, Wes Streeting stepped into the role of defence secretary after previously serving as health secretary until his resignation in May 2026.
