Rookie Jackson Koivun secured his first PGA Tour victory on Sunday at the 3M Open in Blaine, Minnesota.
The 21-year-old fired a bogey-free 6-under 66 in the final round at TPC Twin Cities.

Koivun finished at 25-under par for the week, setting a new tournament scoring record. He held off world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler by three strokes.
The victory came in just his third PGA Tour start since turning professional earlier this month. He earned $1.584 million for the win.
Koivun entered the final day with a three-shot lead after a historic 10-under 61 on Saturday. That round featured a tournament-record 28 on the back nine.
During Sunday's round, he hit 21 consecutive greens in regulation dating back to the third round.
He built a four-shot lead with a bunker save on the 12th hole.
Scheffler's Charge Falls Short
Scheffler mounted a charge with a final-round 63 to reach 22-under overall. He narrowed the lead to two strokes at one point.
Koivun answered with a birdie on the 16th hole to extend his margin and seal the tournament victory.
"All throughout the crowd I kept hearing, 'Scottie's coming, Scottie's coming,'" said Koivun.

"I just tried to tone that out and keep playing the golf I knew I could."
The victory marks a rapid rise for Koivun, who was the top-ranked amateur globally before turning professional after the U.
S. Open.
Prior to his pro debut, he won two national team titles at Auburn and swept the major collegiate individual awards in 2024.
"I just love this game. I love golf, it's everything I do," said Koivun.
"I have a tough time getting away from it. Like I said, it's been love at first sight."
For Scheffler, the runner-up finish marks his fifth second-place result on Tour this season.

The top-ranked player currently leads the FedExCup standings despite having just one victory so far in 2026.
