The Montreal Canadiens have traded center Sean Farrell to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for forward Sasha Pastujov.
The one-for-one deal was announced on July 27, 2026.

Both players are restricted free agents who spent the 2025-26 season in the American Hockey League.
Pastujov's AHL Success
Pastujov, 23, was selected by Anaheim in the third round of the 2021 NHL Draft, 66th overall.
The 6-foot, 186-pound winger led the San Diego Gulls in scoring last season.
He recorded 21 goals and 36 assists for 57 points in 71 games, according to team statistics.

Farrell's Performance
Farrell, 24, posted 17 goals and 36 assists for 53 points in 72 games with the Laval Rocket, Montreal's top AHL affiliate.
He was originally drafted by the Canadiens in the fourth round of the 2020 draft.
Farrell has appeared in six NHL games, all during the 2022-23 season, scoring one goal.
