Sri Lanka Women leveled their three-match One-Day International series against Pakistan Women at 1-1 with an eight-wicket victory at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota on Saturday, July 25.
The host nation chased down a target of 274 runs, reaching 275/2 in 46.5 overs.

Openers Vishmi Gunaratne and Harshitha Samarawickrama anchored the run chase with centuries after Pakistan posted 273/5 in their 50 overs.
Gunaratne scored 123 runs off 11 fours and one six before being dismissed in the 40th over.
She became only the second Sri Lankan woman to register multiple international centuries, joining team captain Chamari Athapaththu.
Gunaratne and Samarawickrama built a match-defining 203-run partnership for the second wicket after Athapaththu was dismissed early by Pakistan captain Fatima Sana.
Following Gunaratne's dismissal, Kavisha Dilhari scored an unbeaten 40 off 45 balls alongside Samarawickrama, who completed her century in the final over of the chase to secure the win.

Pakistan's Innings
Earlier, Pakistan anchored their innings through Sidra Ameen, who remained unbeaten on 100 runs after coming to the crease in the fifth over.
Key contributions from Ayesha Zafar (49), Muneeba Ali (45), and a late unbeaten 25 from Sana lifted Pakistan to 273/5.
Pakistan had previously taken a 1-0 lead in the series by winning the opening ODI by five wickets.
The series carries crucial points for the ICC Women's Championship 2025-2029 standings.
