ABC released its complete fall 2026 television premiere schedule on July 27, 2026, highlighting the return of flagship series such as Dancing with the Stars, Grey's Anatomy, and Abbott Elementary.
The network had a strong broadcast year, securing 10 of the top 20 programs among adults aged 18 to 49, according to Nielsen data, the highest count across all broadcast networks.

Sports and Reality Lead the Lineup
College football kicks off the season on Saturday, August 29, with Alabama A&M facing Howard.
Monday Night Football follows on September 14, featuring the Denver Broncos against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dancing with the Stars begins its new season with a two-night premiere on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16.
The series will simulcast live on Disney+.
Executive Producer and Casting Director Deena Katz expressed excitement about the upcoming season.
"You don't want to keep doing the same things, so I have to do something different and yet something that the audience is ready to embrace," she said.
"It's gonna be competition on!"
Production details indicate fresh creative shifts for the dance competition's new episodes.
Comedy, Drama, and Unscripted Returns
The comedy and unscripted block launches Wednesday, September 30, with two-episode premieres for both Scrubs and Shark Tank.
Abbott Elementary joins the Wednesday rotation on October 7 at 8:30 p. m.
