Payments scheduled for that date will arrive on Friday, August 28.

Who Is Affected?
The schedule change impacts claimants across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland receiving Universal Credit, State Pension, Personal Independence Payment, Child Benefit, and Pension Credit.
Payments in Scotland on August 3 will proceed as normal via Bacs systems.
Standard payment schedules for the basic state pension depend on the final two digits of a recipient's National Insurance number, with funds deposited directly into accounts every four weeks.
Official guidance confirms standard operating procedures for holiday adjustments across government-administered benefits.

"Benefits are usually paid straight into your bank, building society or credit union account.
If your payment date is on a weekend or a bank holiday you'll usually be paid on the working day before.
This may be different for Child Benefit," stated official government website guidance reported by Liverpool Echo.
Approximately 24 million people across the United Kingdom receive DWP-administered benefits.

Affected claimants do not need to contact the department, as payments will deposit automatically into regular accounts on the revised date.
