Lottery players in Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina recently won $1 million prizes by matching five white ball numbers in the Powerball drawing on Saturday.
In Tupelo, Mississippi, a $2 ticket purchased at Sprint Mart #38 secured a $1 million prize, according to the Mississippi Lottery Corporation.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize at the Mississippi Lottery Headquarters in Flowood.
Western Pennsylvania saw two winning tickets totaling $1.2 million in Allegheny and Fayette counties.
A $1 million prize ticket was sold at a Walmart in South Union Township, while a $200,000 ticket with Power Play was sold in Ross Township.
Retailers receiving bonuses for the sales, as reported by WPXI.

North Carolina also reported unclaimed winnings from the same drawing. A $1 million ticket was purchased in Warrenton and a $200,000 ticket in Johnston County.
Both prizes remained unclaimed as of Sunday morning, according to MyFOX8.
All winning tickets matched five white balls but missed the red Powerball number, except the $200,000 ticket in Pennsylvania, which matched four white balls and the red Powerball with a 4x multiplier.
The odds of matching all five white balls in Powerball stand at 1 in 11.6 million, while the overall jackpot odds are 1 in 292 million, according to MyFOX8.

The Powerball jackpot continued to grow, reaching an estimated $633 million with a cash option of $277.3 million for Monday night's drawing, as reported by multiple sources including WLBT and IndyStar.
