Actress Bethany Antonia has been announced as the ninth celebrity participant for the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The official reveal was published on July 28 via the show's social media platforms ahead of its autumn return on BBC One.

The House of the Dragon star enters a refreshed contest that features brand-new hosting trio Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe.
Five newly recruited professional dancers from across the globe will also join the show.
Antonia expressed her excitement about swapping television drama sets for the BBC ballroom. "I can't quite believe that I will be heading to the Strictly ballroom this September!"
she said.

The announcement extends a cast list that commenced with EastEnders actor Lacey Turner.
Other confirmed stars include Dani Dyer, Delta Goodrem, Chris Appleton, Cach Mercer, Will Best, Dame Sarah Storey, and Jaime Winstone.
Dani Dyer returns to the franchise after an injury forced her withdrawal from the previous series.
Australian singer Delta Goodrem joins following her fourth-place finish at the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year.
