BBC's flagship dance competition Strictly Come Dancing has unveiled its celebrity lineup for the 2026 autumn series, along with significant changes to the hosting panel.
The announcement on July 28, 2026, confirmed House of the Dragon actor Bethany Antonia as the ninth contestant.

New Presenting Trio
The upcoming series introduces a new presenting trio: broadcaster Emma Willis, comedian Josh Widdicombe, and former professional dancer Johannes Radebe.
They replace longtime hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
Celebrity Contestants
Among the confirmed stars is 28-year-old Bethany Antonia, who currently stars as Eurydice in Hadestown in London's West End and plays Lady Baela Targaryen in HBO's House of the Dragon.
"I can't quite believe that I will be heading to the Strictly ballroom this September!" Antonia said.
Also joining is actor Jaime Winstone, known for roles in Kidulthood, Tomb Raider, and EastEnders, with stage experience in 2:22 A Ghost Story.

"I am so excited to announce that I will be joining the Strictly Come Dancing cast this year," Winstone said.
Britain's most decorated Paralympian, Dame Sarah Storey, joins the cast after retiring from competitive swimming and cycling in July 2026.
"Embarking on a new challenge so soon after stepping down as an athlete is hugely exciting," Storey said.
Big Brother co-host Will Best has also been confirmed, following his victory on Celebrity Mastermind.
"I can't quite believe it…I'm doing Strictly! What an absolute dream," Best said.

Other confirmed participants include EastEnders actor Lacey Turner, TV personality Dani Dyer, Australian singer Delta Goodrem, hair stylist Chris Appleton, and Love Island winner Cach Mercer.
