Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star Mookie Betts officially launched his LGND glove brand on Monday, July 27, 2026, during a four-hour public block party at The Yard Field in Fullerton.

The event featured youth baseball drills, carnival games, local food vendors, and opportunities to purchase the newly unveiled equipment line.

The launch celebrated a landmark partnership naming LGND the Official Glove of Perfect Game.

A special VIP experience granted 100 young athletes an exclusive hour with Betts, along with photo opportunities, on-field access, and an LGND glove.

Teammate Miguel Rojas attended the event to support Betts' venture.

"It's huge when you can support a teammate, but it's even better when you talk about a friend," said Rojas, Los Angeles Dodgers infielder.

"We've been creating a relationship for the last four years."

Rojas noted that their bond grew stronger when Betts moved to shortstop, where Rojas served as a mentor while sharing a mutual desire to expand youth baseball outreach.

"I think Mookie and I have been really close, not just because we play on the same team, but off the field we've got kind of the same intentions to continue to grow baseball through so many outlets that we have," said Rojas.

The launch allowed Betts to work directly with young athletes to encourage participation across the local region.

"I think it's important for us to continue to motivate these kids, especially in our community, all of Los Angeles, to continue to play baseball," said Rojas.
