A BBC documentary titled Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret has detailed allegations of sexual misconduct against actor and musician Jared Leto, featuring accounts from ten women.
Four of the women accuse the 54-year-old Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman of criminal sexual conduct when they were teenagers, with alleged incidents occurring between 2002 and 2016.

The specific claims include sexual assault in a motel bathroom at age 17, threats of sexual assault in a hotel room at age 19, statutory rape in California at age 17, and grooming through explicit phone calls at age 16.
Four additional women reported receiving sexually explicit phone calls from Leto during their youth, according to the documentary accounts.
The BBC stated it corroborated multiple accounts through friends and family members who were informed of the encounters at the time of their occurrence.
“This was 25 years ago… he has gotten away with it,” said one of the alleged victims.

Two former crew members of Thirty Seconds to Mars also expressed discomfort regarding Leto's interactions with teenage girls during his music tours.
“I think everyone thought the age gap was way too big,” said one of the former crew members.
The current allegations follow separate reports from last year, when nine women accused Leto of sexual impropriety after Los Angeles DJ Allie Teilz claimed she was assaulted at age 17.

Leto previously denied all prior allegations, while representatives for the Oscar-winning actor have been contacted for comment regarding the new documentary claims.
