Richard Madeley briefly walked off the live set of Good Morning Britain on Tuesday after co-host Kate Garraway teased him about his pet peeve of people eating food next to him.
The incident occurred on the ITV morning show just before handing over to This Morning hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.

Madeley, 70, had expressed his strong dislike for hearing people chew food, particularly while watching films at movie theaters.
In response to his confession, Garraway, 59, pulled a bag of popcorn from inside a coffee table cabinet on set and began eating it next to him during the live segment.
"He's the fun police - he doesn't like people eating next to him," said Garraway.
Madeley sighed, reacted with disgust, and exited the studio stage, prompting his co-presenter to address the sudden departure on air.
"He's had enough, he's stormed off set!" said Garraway.
Madeley returned to his seat next to Garraway following a short promotional preview from Hammond and O'Leary, shortly before the program went to a commercial break.
The broadcast moment follows a series of recent live disruptions on the show.
During a live broadcast on Friday, Garraway issued an apology to viewers after a passerby made an offensive hand gesture behind a guest who was being interviewed in Edinburgh.
