According to CENTCOM, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched several ballistic missiles at 5:45 p. m.

Jordan's official news agency reported that its air defense systems also intercepted and downed five incoming Iranian missiles.
Iran Confirms Involvement
The Iranian military confirmed its involvement shortly after military-affiliated media outlets reported the strike.

Citizens in central Iranian cities, including Khomein, posted videos on social media showing visible missile trails in the sky.
The Aerospace Force of the IRGC issued Statement No. 52, declaring that it targeted a U. S.
