The Women's Super League has released its fixture schedule for the 2026-27 season, marking a significant expansion from 12 to 14 clubs.
The new campaign kicks off on Friday, September 4, with London City Lionesses hosting Manchester United at 19:00 BST.

Three teams have earned promotion from WSL 2: Birmingham City, Crystal Palace, and Charlton Athletic.
With the expanded format, each club will play 26 league fixtures, and the season will run through May 22, 2027.
Broadcast and Scheduling Changes
Broadcast partner Sky Sports will air 163 live games, including the play-off, while the BBC will carry 25 matches.
The league has diversified kick-off times to reduce overlaps, introducing additional Friday night and Saturday afternoon slots.
Relegation rules remain active.
The 14th-placed team will be automatically relegated, while the 13th-placed team will face a single-match play-off against the WSL 2 runner-up on May 29 or 30.

Opening Weekend Highlights
On Saturday, September 5, Chelsea host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
The following day, defending champions Manchester City begin their title defense against Birmingham City, while runner-up Arsenal travel to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Key early-season matchups include Chelsea hosting Arsenal on September 27, and Arsenal visiting Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on October 4.
The first Merseyside derby takes place on September 27, when Everton visit Liverpool at Anfield.
Manchester City has announced that ticket sales for their initial home fixtures and the Etihad Pass bundle will open to priority members on Friday, July 31, before general sales begin on August 3.
