A stacked field of 147 players, including four of the world's top 10 golfers, has gathered at Detroit Golf Club for the final Rocket Classic tournament.
The event tees off on July 30, 2026, on a fully restored par-70 layout.

The tournament marks the end of an eight-year run in Michigan after the mortgage sponsor decided to shift away from hosting second-tier events under the PGA Tour's upcoming 2028 model.
Course Restoration and Exhibition
Architect Tyler Rae led a comprehensive restoration of the historic North Course, extending four par-4 holes past 500 yards and reducing par from 72 to 70.
Ahead of the official tournament, six PGA Tour stars participated in the 'Par 3 in the D' exhibition on July 28.
They hit 117-yard shots from a fifth-story downtown rooftop down to a street-level green.
Rickie Fowler's initial shot struck the adjacent Hudson's building before youth golfers completed the putts on the street below.
"I kind of broke the ice, and then there was a couple others," said Fowler. "With the wind, the buildings were in play."
The downtown challenge tested players with strong gusts swirling between high-rise structures.

"Definitely probably one of the harder shots we've had to try and hit, between some buildings," said Fowler.
"This was great."
Former tournament champion Tony Finau also struggled with the elevation drop and windy conditions.
