Hayden Mullins has been appointed as the new head coach of Newport County, filling the vacancy left by the departed manager Fuchs.
The former Fulham Under-21 manager takes immediate charge of the first-team squad.

Fuchs guided the League Two side to fourth-tier safety last season before exiting ahead of pre-season preparations.
Interim manager Chris Todd handled recent friendlies against Bristol Manor Farm, Newport City, Gloucester City, and Reading, and is expected to stay at the club despite assistant manager Mark Smith leaving.
Third Consecutive Summer Change
This appointment marks the third consecutive summer managerial change at Rodney Parade and the fourth permanent manager hired by owner Huw Jenkins since taking control in January 2024.
Mullins previously held coaching roles within Watford's youth system before serving as interim manager for their senior team.

He also managed Colchester United and the Turks and Caicos Islands national team.
During his tenure with Fulham's Under-21 side, Mullins led the team to a Premier League Cup title following a 4-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur Under-21s in the final.
His tenure with Newport begins on Saturday in a pre-season fixture against Yeovil, followed by a friendly against Italian side Roma at Rodney Parade on August 4.

Newport opens its competitive schedule against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup on August 8 before launching its League Two campaign against Rochdale on August 15.
