Construction is moving forward on Northpoint on Jarvis Creek, a 157-unit workforce housing development on Hilton Head Island.

The project aims to help local workers live closer to their jobs.

Applications are expected to open in Fall 2026, with residents moving in by early 2027, according to WTOC and Bluffton Today.

The development is a public-private partnership between the Town of Hilton Head Island and OneStreet Residential.

It will offer one, two, and three-bedroom apartments and townhome-style layouts, with rental rates starting at $1,500 per month.

Framing milestone reached

Nish Menon, Senior Marketing Strategist with Cue PR and Marketing, noted that framing is now underway.

"Construction at Northpoint on Jarvis Creek has reached another visible milestone," she said.

Menon explained that the framing stage marks a significant step as the project moves above ground.

Early infrastructure work included site roadway and drainage completion, initial asphalt layering, and foundation slab installation.

"Continued progress also reflects a larger community purpose: supporting the people who help keep Hilton Head Island moving every day," Menon added.

She emphasized that the community aims to provide workforce members the opportunity to live nearer to their workplaces.

Rusty Porter, Executive Vice President of CF Evans Construction, expressed pride in the project.

"Framing is one of the most rewarding milestones in any community because it's the point where months of planning and site work begin taking visible shape," he said.

Porter added, "With each building that rises, Northpoint moves one step closer to providing high-quality housing for the people who help keep Hilton Head Island running every day."

The project's website, NorthpointOnJarvisCreek. com, serves as a hub for updates, FAQs, and leasing information.

It also features a community survey to gather input from local residents and workers.
