A 19-year-old man from Rotterdam was arrested in Bergen op Zoom on Thursday afternoon around 2:15 p.
m. following a high-speed police pursuit.

Authorities apprehended the driver after he committed multiple dangerous traffic violations across several streets.
Police officers first spotted the teenager driving at high speed in a gray Peugeot 3008 along Wouwsestraatweg.
Officers initiated a pursuit that continued through Antwerpsestraatweg and Dokter de Ramlaan before forcing the vehicle to a stop on Snoostraat.
"During the pursuit, the police, unlike the driver of the pursued car, did consider the safety of other road users," said the police.

Following the arrest, law enforcement officials discovered that the suspect did not possess a valid driver's license.
Authorities subsequently transported the teenager to a police cell complex, where he is being held to give an official statement regarding his reckless driving behavior.
Local police are actively searching for eyewitnesses who observed the vehicle's erratic driving during the incident.
