ITV has confirmed the UK premiere date for the fourth season of the crime drama Van Der Valk.
The show will return on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 8 p. m.

The new season arrives for UK audiences nearly two years after its initial US broadcast in September 2024.
This ends a three-year hiatus for domestic viewers, according to reports from Mirror, The Resident, and Herald Scotland.
Three Feature-Length Episodes
The fourth season consists of three two-hour feature-length episodes, each following complex criminal cases in Amsterdam.
Episode One, titled "Safe in Amsterdam," centers on the murder of a police protection whistle-blower who attempted to dismantle a crime empire matriarch.

Episode Two, "Hope in Amsterdam," investigates the murder of an environmental campaigner right before a global conference.
The final episode, "Secrets in Amsterdam," focuses on the death of a young scientist researching a potential cancer treatment breakthrough.
Beyond the central murder cases, the narrative also explores Van Der Valk navigating a resurfacing past romance and urging a colleague to confront their own morality.
Returning cast members include Maimie McCoy as Lucienne Hassell, Darrell D'Silva as Hendrik Davie, Emma Fielding as Julia Dahlman, and Azan Ahmed as Sergeant Eddie Suleman.
