Ferrari's hardcore 12Cilindri prototype has been spotted testing near Maranello, showing off canards and a much larger ducktail spoiler.
The standard 12Cilindri already delivers 819 hp (830 PS) from its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, but this version is expected to push past 850 hp.

Spy photographers caught the car with subtle yet significant aerodynamic upgrades, hinting at a more track-focused variant.
More Power and Better Sound
Ferrari has a history of turning up the wick on its V12 grand tourers.
The 599 GTO, F12tdf, and 812 Competizione all received sharper chassis, extra aero, and more powerful engines.
Following that pattern, the hardcore 12Cilindri could gain at least 30 hp over the standard model, bringing output to around 850 hp (862 PS) and a redline close to 10,000 rpm.
With no turbocharging or hybrid assistance, the V12's soundtrack should be even more intoxicating.

Three Pedals on the Table
Ferrari recently introduced a simulated manual for the limited-edition 12Cilindri Manuale, which uses the standard eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox but adds a clutch pedal and a gated shifter.
This setup recreates the feel of a classic Ferrari manual while retaining the option of full automatic operation.
There's a strong chance the hardcore version could offer this same three-pedal setup, giving drivers the best of both worlds.
Enthusiasts would enjoy the engagement of shifting manually when desired, then switch back to auto for everyday driving.

Ferrari hasn't confirmed any details yet, but the prototype's aggressive styling suggests a more hardcore 12Cilindri is on the way.
