Kia EV9 buyers can now find discounts exceeding $16,000 off MSRP at some dealerships.
The price cuts come as the electric three-row crossover saw sales fall 33% last month to 1,789 units.
That figure is far below the 12,693 Tellurides sold in August and even trails the smaller Niro.
While the slowdown is a concern for Kia, dealers are responding with steep markdowns.
Where the Biggest EV9 Deals Are
Shottenkirk Kia of Fort Bend has one of the cheapest EV9s in America.
Its Light RWD model is marked down by $16,041, dropping the sticker from $56,735 to $40,694.
For context, the Telluride Hybrid starts at $46,490 before a $1,545 destination fee. That makes the discounted EV9 a notably lower-priced option.
Liberty Auto Plaza in Libertyville, Illinois, is also offering large discounts.
An EV9 Light Short Range has been cut from $57,480 to $42,480 after a $15,000 reduction.
The same dealer has an EV9 Light Long Range with a similar $15,000 markdown.
That 304-mile (489 km) version is priced at $44,785 instead of $59,785.
For a higher trim, Crain Kia of Bentonville lists an EV9 Wind at $52,370, down from $66,820.
The reduction includes $10,000 in Kia customer cash and a $4,450 dealer discount.
Arapahoe Kia has an EV9 GT-Line AWD nearly $16,000 off. With Kia customer cash and a $5,991 discount, it is priced from $58,489 before fees.
These offers vary by location and require some research and travel. But for buyers willing to look, the EV9 is currently available at significant savings.
