Manchester City's attempt to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson with a package worth £93 million plus winger Savinho has been rejected by the East Midlands club.
Nottingham Forest demands a full £100 million in cash and refuses any player-plus-cash arrangements for the 23-year-old, according to reports from vitalfootball.

Transfer insider Nicolò Schira reported that Manchester City had previously reached an agreement in principle on personal terms with Anderson for a contract extending until 2031.
Pereira Addresses Anderson's Future
Nottingham Forest manager Vitor Pereira addressed the midfielder's future following the conclusion of the Premier League season.
Anderson is expected to start for England at the upcoming World Cup.
"I don't have the answer. If you ask me if he deserves the best clubs in the world, he deserves," Pereira said.
Pereira expressed satisfaction with his squad while acknowledging the unpredictable nature of the summer transfer window.
"He has a lot of quality, he is a talent. But he is our player and I am very happy with him.
The market is the market, I cannot predict the market.
I know we want to keep the same players, to bring two or three players to help us balance the squad.
In the end, we'll see," he added.
Forest secured Premier League safety three games before the end of the domestic season while also competing in the Europa League.
"This season was very, very tight in terms of the battle of relegation," Pereira noted.
He highlighted the challenges faced by several clubs, including Tottenham, West Ham, Leeds, and Nottingham Forest, during the grueling campaign.
"To be safe three games before the end of the season, the last two games are very difficult in my experience," he said.
The team also reached a tournament semi-final despite managing two concurrent competitions.
"We did well, we competed, we went in a semi-final.
It is not easy with the two competitions, struggling in one and trying to move forward in another.
In the end, I am proud. We are proud of our work, of our supporters.
I believe that next season we can go and do good things," Pereira added.
Manchester United Also Interested
Manchester United have also shortlisted Anderson as a potential replacement for Casemiro, who is moving to Inter Miami.
However, the club currently prioritizes Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United views the operation to sign Tonali as highly expensive, creating doubts about the transfer progression.
Manchester United secured a Champions League return under permanent manager Michael Carrick, finishing the season with a 3-0 victory against Brighton.
"As you can imagine, we're delighted.
Absolutely delighted in so many ways with today and particularly over the last two or three weeks when the position's kind of cemented," Carrick said.
Carrick emphasized the importance of maintaining focus as the club transitions into the next campaign.
"We know where we are in the league and it's easy to drift and lose a bit of momentum, lose a little bit of focus and we've kind of treated it as it's all one season going into the next one really," he added.
The manager praised his squad's mindset during the final weeks of the season.
"It's not ended here and I think we want to keep building and keep pushing.
That's credit to the players, it's not easy to do it as much as we'd expected and hoped for it.
I've been there and it's not easy to find that spark," Carrick said.
He noted the challenging weather conditions and opponent's style tested the players' stamina.
"But the hunger was there, you could see it and it was probably the toughest team to play that type of game in the heat, the way they move the ball.
So it needed a really strong mentality, which I was absolutely delighted with because that's the foundation we need to show and have to give us the confidence to move forward," Carrick added.
