The service in South Florida uses fully autonomous Model Y vehicles operating without human safety monitors.
Miami joins Austin, Dallas, and Houston as cities where Tesla offers unsupervised robotaxi rides.
In contrast, Tesla's San Francisco Bay Area network—covering San Francisco, San Jose, and Berkeley since July 2025—still uses human safety monitors during customer rides.
