Millwall has secured the signing of center-back Elkan Baggott from Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee, the club announced on July 15, 2026.
The 23-year-old defender signed a long-term agreement with the Lions, becoming their fifth acquisition of the summer transfer window.
His arrival follows earlier signings of Jenson Metcalfe, Tairyk Arconte, Mathis Servais, and Mark Sykes.
Standing at six-foot-five, Baggott operated as fourth-choice center-back for Ipswich Town last season, where he made two cup appearances alongside featuring for their under-21 squad.
Having developed through Ipswich's youth academy, the defender recorded nine first-team appearances across six seasons.
His development includes multiple loan stints across the English Football League, spending time with King's Lynn Town in the National League, Gillingham in League Two, and League One sides Cheltenham Town, Bristol Rovers, and Blackpool.
Internationally, Baggott has earned 28 caps for Indonesia, scoring two goals.

The club director noted Baggott's age, drive, and defensive profile align with Millwall's tactical requirements.
"He's a good age, has a real appetite to improve and fits the profile we look for defensively," said Gallen.
Gallen pointed out that the acquisition strengthens a key area of the squad that has consistently performed well.
"Elkan comes in to bolster our defensive options in an area that has been a real strength for us in recent seasons and we're confident he'll add real competition and quality to that group," he said.
The club confirmed Baggott's arrival as they look ahead to his integration into the squad for the upcoming campaign.
