Former reality television personality Kendra Wilkinson revealed her professional frustrations on Instagram on July 26, 2026, after a luxury real estate client terminated her services.
The 41-year-old former Playboy model, who currently works as a luxury realtor for Ernie Carswell & Associates at Sotheby's International Realty in California, detailed the emotional toll of the setback.
"When a client fires you … after all the work you put in," wrote Wilkinson, a former star of the reality television series The Girls Next Door.
"Ya, I'm struggling today, guys."
The mother of two, who shares her children with her former husband Hank Baskett, expressed that finding consistent clientele has become an ongoing professional obstacle.
"We're living in a world of struggle right now — I know that," stated Wilkinson through tears during a series of video clips.
"But it's just … it's so hard — it's so hard right now."
Wilkinson entered the property market industry in 2018 following her marital separation and officially secured her real estate license in June 2020.
"I feel like I'm doing everything right in my life — raising my kids and putting them first.
I'm doing everything good; I'm a good person," continued Wilkinson regarding her domestic and work life balance.
"It's just such a struggle right now, finding people to work with me, getting fired, people being rude and mean… It's taking a toll."
Her initial transition into the industry was previously featured on the Discovery+ reality docuseries Kendra Sells Hollywood, which broadcasted for two seasons between 2021 and 2023.
"Hey guys, I want to thank you so much for the prayers and the well wishes and the thoughts and everything and all the positive messages I'm getting," said Wilkinson in a follow-up social media broadcast to her followers.
"Today was a rough one, but I put in some eye drops, put on my face, and I'm ready to take on a new day."
The television personality had previously shared industry difficulties on social media on June 6, noting the isolation of working as a woman in male-dominated professional environments.
"Got to get back up, right?" asked Wilkinson as she discussed her determination to remain within the luxury housing sector.
"I do have to brush my hair, but it's time to fight a new one and live and enjoy and be grateful for the things I do have.
I love you guys. Thank you."
Prior to her real estate ventures, Wilkinson participated in the British reality program I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
in 2014 alongside public figures Gemma Collins and Jimmy Bullard.
"I'm so happy I'm evolving into myself and growing who I want to be.
Everyday I'm pouring myself into this business," stated Wilkinson in a November retrospective post about opening an escrow account in Venice Beach.
"I just opened escrow on a property in Venice beach today and it just keeps growing. I'm so proud of myself."
Earlier in July 2026, Wilkinson publically addressed criticisms regarding her personal appearance and the natural aging process.
"I'm OK aging. I'm OK not being young Kendra anymore.
I'm not playboy anymore. I am not trying to be sexy.
Dating and men aren't on forefront of my mind," wrote Wilkinson concerning her shifted life priorities.
"Looking exactly how i want and loving myself exactly how i am is where im at. Finding gratitude and peace everyday is my objective."
Wilkinson concluded her statement by addressing online remarks that criticized her physical appearance over time.
"I'm ok with aging 'poorly'," said Wilkinson in response to the critical public commentary.
"For some reason I'm happier than I've ever been lately even with a little weight gain and wrinkles and I'm not going to tie my happiness again into the negative energy."
