Tatler magazine has crowned Catherine, Princess of Wales, as Britain's best-dressed person for 2026.
The announcement came on July 30, marking her second time earning the top spot after her previous victory in 2022.
The annual ranking, curated by style editor Chandler Tregaskes, celebrated the 44-year-old royal following her return to public duties.
It highlighted her standout wardrobe choices across major international and domestic appearances.
The publication praised her high-profile ensembles, including a canary-yellow Roksanda dress at Royal Ascot and a Roland Mouret blush tea dress for Peter Phillips' wedding.
Her Blazé Milano blazer worn during her tour of Italy also received special mention.
Tatler also highlighted her support for local fashion.
It noted a heather-grey coat dress from British-Nigerian designer Tolu Coker worn during the Nigerian state visit, as well as a London-made Patrick McDowell coat dress presented on Garter Day.
"Here is a true style champion: showcasing homegrown designers on the world stage, and spotlighting up-and-coming London Fashion Week figures, as during the Nigerian state visit, when she wore a heather-grey coat dress from British-Nigerian cool girl Tolu Coker," the publication stated.
The accolade comes after Princess Kate's recovery from cancer treatment.
The magazine celebrated her prominent return to the public eye, adding, "The Princess of Wales has topped this list before, and will again."
Recognizing her continued influence on British style and emerging designers, the fashion magazine summarized her enduring impact.
"But now feels the perfect moment to salute Britain's chicest figure, back to health - and back to being a Brit-fashion heroine," the article read.
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, was notably excluded from the 2026 list despite previously topping the ranking in 2018.
She recently expressed interest in entering the fashion space, saying on a podcast in 2025, "The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date, because I do think that's an interesting space for me."
The 2026 rankings featured several prominent public figures behind the Princess of Wales.
NHS television doctor Dr. Raj Arora took second place, and British sprinter Temi Ojora placed third.
Actor Edward Bluemel claimed fourth place following tailored appearances at Wimbledon and on the red carpet. Twenty-year-old DJ Gjin Lipa rounded out the top five.
Other notable figures included Royal Academy Trust chair Batia Ofer, filmmaker Jemima Khan, and various members of British high society.
Tatler's historical rankings have previously featured other royals, including Princess Beatrice in first place in 2024 and Zara Tindall in seventh place in 2025.
