Josh Mauro, a former NFL defensive lineman who spent several seasons in the league, has died at the age of 35.

His passing was confirmed on April 28, 2026, by the Arizona Cardinals, one of the teams he played for during his career. The organization shared a message expressing condolences to his family and those who knew him.

"We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Josh Mauro," the team said. "Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who knew him."

Before turning professional, Mauro played college football at Stanford University, where he developed into a defensive lineman known for consistency and effort.
