The comments come as rivals like McLaren and Ferrari have recently embraced three-pedal setups.
Why Lamborghini Is Skipping the Manual Revival
Winkelmann told CarBuzz that a manual gearbox is mostly for collectors, and it's not on the priority list.
He noted that the company already has many projects in development, making a manual a low priority.
The last manual Lamborghini was the Gallardo LP560-2 50th Anniversary edition from 2013.

The MurciƩlago LP670-4 SV was the final V12 with a stick shift, with only five built.
Lamborghini's current lineup, including the Temerario and Revuelto, is electrified, making a manual difficult to package.
At Monterey, the brand unveiled the limited-run Revuelto SV with 1,050 hp and 1,051 lb-ft of torque.
