Denny Hamlin enters the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway as the driver to beat. The NASCAR Cup Series crown jewel race takes place over Memorial Day Weekend.

Hamlin recently won the non-points All-Star Race at Dover. He secured the pole position and led 103 laps in that exhibition event.

His only Coca-Cola 600 victory came in 2022.

According to FOX Sports, during the 2025 race, Hamlin started 20th and finished 16th but recorded the fastest lap at 29.37 seconds and led 53 laps.

Ross Chastain won the 2025 Coca-Cola 600 at the same venue. He led only eight laps en route to victory.

Driver Katherine Legge is attempting a rare motorsports double. She will start the Indianapolis 500 at the Brickyard before traveling to Charlotte.

Weather permitting, Legge will complete her day at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
