Sheeraz, 26, aims to rebuild his career momentum after a ten-month layoff following a fifth-round knockout victory over Edgar Berlanga on July 12, according to Ring magazine.

He holds an undefeated record of 22 wins with 18 knockouts.

Sheeraz enters the contest as a 25-1 betting favorite to claim the belt vacated by retired champion Terence Crawford.

Begic Brings Unbeaten Record

Begic, 39, has an unblemished record of 29 wins and 23 knockouts.

However, he remains untested against championship-caliber opponents, according to Ring magazine analysis.

The championship bout is the co-featured event on a high-profile fight card topped by unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk defending his crown against kickboxing veteran Rico Verhoeven.

A victory for Sheeraz could position him as a potential opponent for former undisputed champion Canelo Alvarez.
