The Colorado Rockies ended a combined no-hit attempt by the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night, May 27, 2026, in Los Angeles.

Reliever Tanner Scott entered the game at the start of the eighth inning and allowed a two-out single to right field by Tyler Freeman, ending the bid.

Before that, Shohei Ohtani had pitched six scoreless, hitless innings. He left the game after throwing 99 pitches, 56 of which were strikes.

Ohtani recorded seven strikeouts and issued four walks during his outing.

He allowed one earned run in the fourth inning when Willi Castro drove in a run on a groundout to second base, adjusting Ohtani's ERA to 0.82.

Ohtani also contributed offensively, hitting a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning.

This marked the second consecutive start on the mound where he has homered.

Will Klein took over pitching duties in the seventh inning and retired the side in order, aided by an inning-ending double play.

The combined no-hit bid by Ohtani, Klein, and Scott was broken up by Freeman's single in the eighth.
