"The first dribble I had, the whole crowd was with me. It felt something amazing.
I'm just so grateful," said Umeh.
Umeh noted that his direct style of play is a product of regular preparation and dedication to his position.
"I wanted to show the fans what I have in the locker.
It was good to pull of some of my tricks - I wouldn't say it was all of them, but it was a good moment, definitely," said Umeh.
"Taking players on, that's something I practice all the time," added the teenager.
Looking forward to the upcoming schedule, the winger noted that his immediate focus remains entirely on the national team camp rather than club progression.
"Taking it day by day at this moment," said Umeh.
Umeh expressed gratitude toward his international teammates for their welcoming attitude and support during his introduction to the senior setup.
"We'll see what the next day brings and that next day is here in the camp.

Here with the team, they were amazing today, getting the win," said Umeh.
Prior to his debut, Umeh spoke at FAI HQ on Tuesday regarding his rapid transition from Cork City to Portugal at age 16, where he manages his senior football obligations alongside his Leaving Cert studies.
"Thanks to the gaffer for giving me my debut as well. Ringmahon made me into this player.
That's where I started. I'm just grateful to them as well," said Umeh.
