Inclement weather in Central Texas has disrupted the schedule for the final two days of the 2026 UIL Baseball State Championships.

Eleven UIL state title games were originally scheduled from Thursday, June 4, through Saturday, June 6.

Thursday's action in the 2A DII, 2A DI, 3A DII, and 3A DI games proceeded as planned.

However, significant thunderstorms on Friday caused several delays and postponed start times for many games over the weekend.

Rain delays affected Saturday's slate of Class 4A and 5A state title games starting early in the morning.

Corpus Christi Calallen and Texarkana Pleasant Grove started 50 minutes late and endured a 58-minute weather delay before their 4A DI game ended at 1:07 p.

m.

Brock and Waco Robinson began their 4A DII game 76 minutes behind schedule and faced a separate 48-minute delay, finishing at 5:19 p.

m.

A third weather delay occurred in the top of the first inning of the 5A DII game between Aledo and Montgomery Lake Creek at 6:59 p.

m. on Friday, halting action for over an hour.

The University Interscholastic League released updated expected start times for the four remaining games.

The Class 1A game between Gordon Longhorns (23-4) and Groveton Centerville Bulldogs (23-1) was moved from 9 a.

m. to noon Saturday at Dell Diamond.

Gordon and Groveton Centerville will play after the Class 5A Division I game between Sharyland Rattlers (38-5) and Lucas Lovejoy Leopards (33-6-1).

Sharyland and Lovejoy, originally scheduled for 7 p. m.

Friday, will now start Saturday's action at 9 a. m.

The 6A DI game between Lake Travis Cavaliers (32-11-1) and Keller Indians (39-4-2) was pushed back three hours to 3 p.

m. Saturday.

The 6A DII championship between Houston Memorial Mustangs (34-7) and Tomball Cougars (42-1-1) will start two hours later at 6 p.
