San Francisco enters the matchup with a 27-39 overall record and a 12-16 mark at home.
The Giants recently completed a 5-5 road trip, capped by a 2-1, 10-inning victory against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday night.
Third baseman Matt Chapman drove in the winning run with an RBI single, boosting confidence in the veteran-heavy roster as the offense seeks consistency.
"Everybody's still believing," Chapman said during a postgame interview. "We started off slow, and it's easy to get down.
Hitting is hard. You can all get in a rut.
But if you believe and you keep grinding ..."
Chapman emphasized the team's resilience. "We have a lot of veteran guys.
We know it's a long season and it shows. We had a tough first month, but we're coming."

Webb holds a 3-4 record with a 4.25 ERA this season. He has a career 5-1 record and a 4.29 ERA in seven starts against Washington.
