Winger Nikolaj Ehlers propelled the Hurricanes offense with three assists, including two during power plays. He served four penalty minutes for twice lifting the puck over the glass.

According to rotowire. com, this was Ehlers' second consecutive three-point game.

He has accumulated eight points across five matches against Vegas.

The victory follows a productive stretch for the Danish veteran. He also recorded a goal and two assists during Tuesday's 5-3 win in Game 4.

Rotoballer. com reported that Ehlers has now achieved seven goals and 10 assists across 17 postseason appearances.

Ehlers expressed mixed emotions regarding his delay-of-game penalties, one of which led to a Golden Knights goal.

"I'm excited, but not excited to see my dad tonight.

For those who don't know, he's been a hockey coach for the last 25 years," Ehlers said during post-game media availability reported by clutchpoints.

Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour commented on Ehlers' penalties. "I'm glad his dad is a hockey coach.

He'll take care of that stuff for me," Brind'Amour said.
