The Carolina Hurricanes have officially secured their place in hockey history as the names of the 2025-26 championship team were engraved on the Stanley Cup, the NHL announced on July 9, 2026.

Team owner Tom Dundon leads the list of newly added names. The roster continues with chief executive Brian Fork, general manager Eric Tulsky, and head coach Rod Brind'Amour.

Brind'Amour earns his second engraving with the franchise, having previously captained the Hurricanes to their maiden title in 2006.

Captain Jordan Staal also receives his second career engraving, having won with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009.

Forward William Carrier achieves his second as well, after winning with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2023.

Twenty other Hurricanes players have their names on the trophy for the first time, including goaltender Frederik Andersen, forward Sebastian Aho, and forward Jordan Martinook.

The engraving was completed ahead of the annual summer tour, a tradition where each team member receives a personal day with the cup.

The Stanley Cup summer tour begins on July 11, 2026, with forward William Carrier scheduled to start the celebrations in his hometown of Montreal.
