"Many of the design choices were intentionally created to honor defining moments from the season, the culture of the organization, and the bond between the team, the fans and the city of Seattle," said Arasheben.

"The ring was designed not just as jewelry, but as a permanent time capsule of a championship era," said Arasheben.

Community Service Before Ceremony

The ring ceremony followed a modified mandatory minicamp schedule orchestrated by head coach Mike Macdonald earlier in the week.

As reported by The News Tribune, Macdonald shortened Wednesday's practice session to an hour-long indoor walk-through so the team could conduct community service.

"It's hard to bring 150 people to one spot," said Mike Macdonald, Head Coach of the Seattle Seahawks.

Roster members including quarterback Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba divided into separate groups to visit local facilities.

Their destinations included Seattle Children's hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, the Veterans' Administration hospital, and the Family First Community Center in Renton.

"We moved today's practice to (Thursday) morning," said Macdonald.

"So it will be fun to get out and visit some folks," said Macdonald.

"I'm proud of our guys for volunteering for it," said Macdonald.

"It's going to be a lot of fun," said Macdonald.

The community initiatives marked the first time Macdonald organized a full, team-wide volunteering deployment during the required offseason program.

Players spent the afternoon playing basketball with teenagers and interacting with patients in their hospital rooms.

"We're looking for ways for guys to be together," said Macdonald.

"We haven't really done one of these," said Macdonald.

"So I thought it was a great opportunity for us to get out there, go do our thing and serve our community," said Macdonald.

"Guys are all about it," said Macdonald.
