According to Daily Mail Sport, the game was split into two periods. England led 1-0 at the break before adding five more goals in the second half.

Striker Ivan Toney scored a hat-trick, including a long-range effort described as a "worldie." Jordan Henderson, Ethan Nwaneri, and Rio Ngumoha also scored.

Manager Thomas Tuchel used the fixture to give playing time to squad members who had limited minutes in the previous 3-0 win over Costa Rica in Orlando.

Earlier in the week, Tuchel explained the purpose of the training match. "It will be a match according to our rules.

It will not be 90 minutes, maybe 60 minutes, maybe 2 x 30 or 2 x 25.

It is to get some minutes into the legs of players who didn't get minutes against Costa Rica," he said.
