Daniil Donchenko earned a technical knockout victory over promotional newcomer Theodor Berggren in a welterweight bout at UFC Fight Night 280 on Saturday.
The event took place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Donchenko stopped Berggren at 1:35 of Round 2 after landing a flush head kick that dropped the Swedish fighter, followed by a barrage of punches that forced referee Herb Dean to intervene.
The win improved Donchenko's record to 14-2 overall and 3-0 in the UFC, while Berggren fell to 8-4 after stepping in on short notice as a replacement for Andreas Gustafsson.
Fight Highlights
In the opening round, Donchenko applied heavy striking pressure, consistently targeting Berggren's legs and body with combinations. He nearly scored a knockdown before the first bell.

Following the bout, the Ultimate Fighter Season 33 winner expressed his readiness for future assignments during an in-cage interview with broadcaster Michael Bisping.
"I showed that I am real ultimate fighter," Donchenko said. "I go for a war always.
Give me a fight at UFC Paris, let's go."

The event marked the second time the UFC held a fight card in Azerbaijan under a multi-year partnership agreement that ensures annual Fight Night events in Baku until 2028.
