Stylistic Matchup
An analyst from Action Network described Johnson as "the most inconsistent fighter to bet on in MMA" due to his career trajectory and split decisions.
The same analyst noted Almabayev has shown vulnerabilities in his striking setups recently.
The victor could position themselves for a future bout against a top-five division contender later this year.
