Dutch club Feyenoord has reportedly secured the signing of Spanish defender Mika Marmol, who confirmed his departure from Las Palmas on Saturday after deciding not to extend his contract.
According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Feyenoord beat competition from Olympiakos and Braga for the 24-year-old's commitment.

The chance to play in the Champions League next season was a key factor in his decision to move to Rotterdam.
Marmol, capable of playing as a central defender or left-back, is seen as a direct replacement for David Hancko, who transferred to Atletico Madrid last summer.
In the recent season, Marmol contributed three goals and two assists in 38 appearances for Las Palmas, helping the team secure a fifth-place finish in the Segunda Division.
The defender expressed his gratitude to his former club on Instagram as his contract ended.
"Today it is time for me to close a chapter and I can only express my gratitude.
I want to thank everyone at Las Palmas, for the fact that you have helped me grow as a football player and as a person," said Marmol.

Marmol originally developed through FC Barcelona's youth academy before moving to FC Andorra in 2022.
Las Palmas acquired him a year later for just under two million euros, and he made a total of 107 appearances for the club.
In his farewell message to supporters, Marmol emphasized his lasting connection with the organization.
"Thank you for every applause, for all the warmth that I have been allowed to receive from day one and for the fact that you have given me the feeling that I am at home.
Because even though our paths diverge now, there are places that you never fully leave behind. I will always remain one of yours.
