Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has outlined his plans for several top fighters, including Jaron Ennis, ahead of Ennis's upcoming bout against Xander Zayas at the Barclays Center in New York.

According to a report by BoxingScene on June 26, 2026, Hearn expressed confidence that Ennis has the potential to become the world's best fighter.

Hearn also addressed the mindset of Anthony Joshua, discussed promotional plans for Joe Cordina, and commented on the development of Dana White's Zuffa Boxing.

Heavyweight Developments

In a separate heavyweight development, Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgovic engaged in a heated face-to-face press conference in London ahead of their scheduled match on August 29 at The O2 Arena.

Promoter Frank Warren compared the matchup to a potential Hagler-Hearns rivalry for the heavyweight division.
