Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has reportedly turned down a move to Tottenham Hotspur, despite the London club being willing to match his upcoming £325,000-a-week salary.

The 28-year-old England international prefers a transfer outside the Premier League, according to reports from the i Paper on June 27, 2026.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has been searching for a marquee forward ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The Sun reported that Spurs were ramping up interest and prepared to pay Rashford's full salary as an alternative to targets like Savinho and Cody Gakpo.

However, Rashford's stance complicates any potential deal.

He seeks an exit from England following a successful loan spell at FC Barcelona, where he registered 25 goal contributions.

Although Barcelona opted against triggering his initial £26 million permanent buy option to sign Anthony Gordon instead, the Spanish side remains open to another loan arrangement.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated, "as of today, there is nothing advanced, nothing close and nothing concrete between Marcus Rashford and Tottenham."

Manchester United prefers a permanent sale around £40 million, but reports indicate their asking price could drop to £25 million in the coming weeks as they are eager to offload Rashford's high wages.
