The 2027 BMW X5 has leaked online just hours before its official reveal, showing the SUV in full production trim for the first time.
Photos posted on Instagram by user CocheSpias reveal the electric iX5 60, the range-topping variant of the lineup.

The leak confirms the X-shaped headlight signature, the boldest element of the Neue Klasse face and one likely to divide opinion.
Neue Klasse Design and Lost Tailgate
The next-generation X5 adopts BMW's Neue Klasse design language, featuring small illuminated kidney grilles and redesigned headlights with X-shaped daytime running lights.
According to an attendee who spoke to Auto News, the new X5 appears slightly more compact than the outgoing model.
The rear features narrow new LED taillights and a bumper with body-colored and black elements.

However, the useful split tailgate of the current model will not return. Attendees at a dealer event in Nashville confirmed the loss, which likely helps BMW save costs.
The new X5 is codenamed G65 and is set to be officially revealed within hours.
Alongside the X5, BMW also showed dealers the all-new X7, which is expected to have a more wagon-like shape and a bolder look.
