Fashion judge Law Roach and reality TV personality Plane Jane have traded public barbs after a dispute over a recycled outfit on the upcoming season of Project Runway.

The clash escalated Monday when Roach appeared on Good Morning America to promote his role on the show.

A clip showed him confronting Plane Jane in front of fellow panelist Tyra Banks.

Roach criticized the contestant's runway submission, claiming it was previously worn on another television appearance.

"I wish I was on another show, because I would make you lip-sync for your life," Roach said.

Plane Jane defended herself on set: "Listen, I would kill that lip-sync."

Roach remained unimpressed: "I wish you killed the look, but you didn't."

During the morning show, Roach elaborated that he had previously judged Plane Jane on RuPaul's Drag Race and expected entirely original material.

"She actually brought a look she wore then.

I thought that was cheating a little bit, because we asked designers to bring their best look," Roach said.

"To wear something that you've already worn on another show, I thought it was a little bit of a cop-out.

And then it also wasn't good!"

Plane Jane responded sarcastically on X Tuesday, using a pop-culture reference: "LOVE Law Roach."

Roach's criticism echoes prior complaints from other contestants. Season 18 performer Discord Addams earlier told Entertainment Weekly about harsh evaluations during a makeover challenge.
