Spurs' Summer Spending Spree

The North London club is prepared to invest heavily to avoid a repeat of recent campaigns, having finished 17th in the Premier League for two consecutive seasons.

Tottenham's total summer expenditure could approach €400 million (£350 million), per The Independent.

Spurs have already confirmed the acquisitions of Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka, and Jan Paul van Hecke.

They also finalized an £85 million deal with West Ham United for Mateus Fernandes and are completing a club-record €116 million transfer for Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali.

Leao is on a three-player left-wing shortlist that includes Manchester City's Savinho and Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi.

Although Leao holds a €175 million release clause, Milan is reportedly willing to sell for around €50 million (£42.7 million).

The player was also offered to Arsenal, according to The Times and La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Leao's Future Plans

Leao, currently representing Portugal at the 2026 World Cup, addressed his future and Milan's appointment of former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim.

"At this moment, I need to stay focused on the World Cup. I will make a decision after the World Cup," he said.

The winger has played for Milan since 2019 and remains under contract until June 2028. He previously expressed a desire to seek a new challenge outside Serie A.
