First responders performed CPR at the scene before transferring the victim to a hospital for emergency treatment, according to police and local broadcaster Rijnmond.
Law enforcement quickly apprehended seven suspects in connection with the violence. A firearm was found inside a parked vehicle across the street from the initial arrest site.
Witnesses Describe the Incident
Local residents Daniël and an unnamed neighbor were awakened by an argument on the street. Because their windows were open due to warm weather, they could hear clearly.
"I heard one of them say: 'I'll shoot you dead!'" , Daniël said.
