Kostyuk credited a shift in mindset for her improved performance, saying she now prioritizes enjoyment over winning.

"I never thought in my life that I will reach the fourth round here," Kostyuk said during her on-court interview.

"This is new territory for me."

Her recent success includes clay-court titles in Rouen and Madrid, as well as a semifinal run at Roland-Garros, where she defeated Iga Swiatek and Elina Svitolina before losing to Mirra Andreeva.

Kostyuk noted that experience in two-week tournaments helped her prepare for Grand Slam demands.

"I probably got some practice in how to handle long tournaments, how to recover, how to relax," she said.

"That definitely helps my performance on Grand Slams."
